New Calling? Not really...

So Shon and I started going to our own ward about two weeks ago. We met with our Bishop prior to going and he mentioned it was a small ward and everyone is utilized for some sort of calling.

So it isn't a surprise that the ward call us less than one week being in the ward and asked to meet up with us. Which as we all know if 95% of the time a calling.

We were primary teachers in our previous ward for over a year teaching 4 year old, then 5 and 6 year old children.

Our new calling...Primary. And the age group--6 and 7 year old children.

So, not only are we veterans to primary, we are veterans to the age group as well.

At first I was concerned at this calling because of my hormones being funny lately with the Clomid. And I really wanted to get the know my ward more.

However, Shon and I love the kids and we are excited to teach them the gospel. We have a couple of challenging boys...so candy and rewards are definately going to be good ammo for good behavior--or bribary!

Wow, it usually takes a few months for me to get a calling...that's one fast-acting ward! I always loved candy as bribery...and stickers.

did you move? Congrats (?) on the new calling. Maybe it's the Lord's way of preparing you for your own kids??? You NEVER know....
