'Cause it's root, root, root for the home team!

This last spring Ashton played one of the best seasons of baseball! He did AWESOME! He played catcher, he played first base and he even played PITCHER! How's that for a jack of all trades! He made some score saving moves in all spots! He also was even better at batting. Once he found his sweet spot and a hole in the field, he went with it. He is definitely a baseball kid! Here are some pics of his season!

Ashton loves messing with the pitcher...and he usually won! :-)

Coming home from a run!

 Ashton's #1 fans!
Watching the ball to steal for home....

Oh look at that...he made it home! :-)

Ashton pitching! I was shaking the entire time with excitement and being nervous for him!

It was hot and really late sometimes...so parents (or in this case Auntie) became the beds. :-)

Sharing her popcorn

I showed my pride with blue nail polish! :-)

His team wound up at the top in the city tournament. Unfortunately the third night in they lost twice which kicked them out of their spot for state. Ashton was the only 8th (going to 9th) grade kid there...the other boys were at Scout camp. And they were super league kids. I would say Ashton helped tremendously with his holding the team as long as they did. Just check out the coming photos and you will know why I say that. We are SO proud of him and his accomplishments this year playing. He showed us as parents what his true talent is in sports and we couldn't be more proud of him.

***More pics to come!
